We do not sell your personal information, and have not sold personal information in the preceding 12 months, as "sale" is defined under CCPA/CPRA.
We may use limited third-party analytics and, in the future, advertising tools (such as Google AdSense). Under CPRA's broader definition, certain advertising-related data sharing with third parties may be considered a "share" even without a sale taking place. If and when advertising is enabled on the Site, this section will be updated accordingly, and a "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" mechanism will be made available if required.
As a California resident, you have the following rights regarding your personal information:
Request what categories and specific pieces of personal information we've collected, used, and disclosed about you.
Request deletion of personal information we've collected from you, subject to certain legal exceptions.
Request correction of inaccurate personal information we maintain about you.
Opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information. We do not currently sell or share personal information.
Limit the use of sensitive personal information. We do not collect sensitive personal information as defined by CPRA.
Exercising any of these rights will not result in denial of service, different pricing, or a different level of quality.
To submit a request related to any of the rights above, follow these steps:
Send your request to hello@thedailyfintech.com with the subject line "CCPA Privacy Request."
Specify whether you're requesting to know, delete, correct, or opt out, and include your name and the email address associated with your data.
We may ask you to confirm details matching our records to ensure requests are legitimate before acting on them.
We'll confirm receipt and complete your request within the timeframe outlined below.
We will confirm receipt of your request within 10 business days and aim to respond substantively within 45 calendar days, as required under CCPA/CPRA. If we need more time, we'll notify you of an extension (up to an additional 45 days) and the reason for it.
To protect your privacy, we may need to verify your identity before processing a request to know or delete, typically by confirming information that matches what we already have on file.
We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your CCPA/CPRA rights. This means we will not deny you access to the Site, charge different prices, or provide a different level of service because you've submitted a privacy request.
You may designate an authorized agent to submit a CCPA/CPRA request on your behalf. To do so, the agent must provide written proof of authorization, and we may still require you to verify your identity directly with us before completing the request.
